Asante Kotoko midfielder Richmond Lamptey will not travel with the rest of his teammates to Aiyinase to face Karela after picking a knock in the game against Eleven Wonders, according to club sources.
The midfielder dynamo got injured during the matchday four clash against Eleven Wonders and after early assessment, he has been ruled out of the Karela United clash.
The extent of his injury will, however been determined in the coming days, although he will be missing thier next game.
Lamptey joined Asante Kotoko from Inter allies in the transfer window and made his debut in the week one League opener against Dreams FC.

His absence means former Karela United midfielder Emamnuel Keyekeh could be handed a starting role against his former side.
Karela host Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in week five of the Ghana Premier League season.
