Bibiani Gold Stars got one over fellow newly promoted side Accra Lions at the Dun’s Park on Sunday following a 2-0 victory.
Goals from Frank Adjei and Prince Kwabena were enough to grant the hosts the win.
The first half was mostly dull until Frank Adjei broke the deadlock in injury time.
In the second half, Kwabena sealed the proceedings with a composed finish in the 71st minute.
Bibiani are 6th on the log whilst Accra Lions are 16th.
