Mantrac Ghana commissions artificial pitch in Takoradi

Mantrac Ghana commissioned an artificial pitch named ‘The Mansour Field of Dreams’ and an accompanying modern playground for the Ahenemba International School at Mpatado in Takoradi as part of the company’s mission to be good corporate citizens in the markets in which they operate.

Mantrac Ghana had earlier on Tuesday roofed a three-story school building of the school to give more pupils in the surrounding communities the opportunity to access quality basic education.

The pitch and playground are part of a commitment made earlier this year by Loutfy Mansour who visited the school two-and-a-half years ago and saw the muddy and unhygienic nature of the field on which the students played during recess time.

Mantrac Ghana managing director, Steven Scott, said he was very proud and felt a sense of great accomplishment by what the company had done for the school. He said, “It’s not just about playing football, it’s also about giving the children good education; people who can go all out into the world and if they can make it in football, the better!”
