Supporters of Karela United have blamed head coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah for the team’s woeful performance in the Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Passioners club who are yet to win an away game this season, yet lost another vital away game to Dreams FC on midweek fixture played at the Dawu Theater of Dreams.
The Aiyinase-based club have managed just two wins in the last eight games.
Kobi-Mensah charges have been held by AshantiGold, Aduana Stars and recently Asante Kotoko in their last eight outings with their two wins against Berekum Chelsea and Accra Lions. They have also lost three games to Elmina Sharks, Dreams FC and Medeama SC.
Following their 3-1 defeat to Dreams FC on Wednesday in matchday eight, some angry and disappointed supporters took Social media and Nzema premier Sports station West End Radio to express their frustration about the team’s abysmal performance.
For the supporters, their only desire was to see the team win consecutive matches which Kobi-Mensah and his charges have failed to deliver.
Some supporters who spoke to the media after the game accused the coach of underperforming, and question Bismark tactics and unnecessary rotation policies in away games.
Karela United’s currently lie 9th on the league table with 9 points, 7 points adrift of leaders Aduana Stars. Their next game will be a home game against Bechem United.
