Karela United winger Darlington Gyanfosu has parted ways with the club following the expiration of his contract, Domesticsportsgh.com can report.
The 24-year-old refused to pen an extension with the Passioners after the club’s officials contacted him over contract renewal.
Gyanfosu has been phenomenon for the Pride and Passions since joining them in 2018 and was a key member of the Karela United set-up that lost on Penalties to Kotoko in the GFA Normalisation Committee Special Cup finals.
He joined Karela United from Nea Salamina currently Wamanfo Mighty Royals on a three-year deal in 2018.
The forward has made 11 appearances and scored twice for Karela United this season in the ongoing Ghana Premiere League season.
He has established himself as one of the highly-rated forwards in the Ghanaian top-flight league this season.
According to reports, he’s been on the radar of Premier League side Medeama SC.
