Experience defender Pius Baffour Awuah has been named King Faisal’s player of the month for December following his outstanding display for the club.
The towering center back was picked as the best player of the month after winning the vote of the management and technical team.
He beats off competition from Zubairu Ibrahim and Mawuli Wayo to win the prestigious award.
Pius Baffour won the match award when King Faisal defeated Elmina Sharks in matchday 8 of the Ghana Premier League.
He was also voted the best defender after King Faisal FA Cup defeat to Asante Kotoko.
The defender becomes the second player to win this award after Ibrahim Osman won the November Player of the month award.
