According to the Western Regional Football Association, 96 clubs out of the 150 registered clubs across the Western and Western North region will be relegated at the end of the 2021/22 season.
This decision was made known to the clubs during the 2022 Regional Football Delegates Congress held at the Kenroses Hotel in Swefi Wiawso.
The decision is to enable the RFAs to execute assignment of bringing competitiveness and development in the respective divisions until the end of the 2023/24 season.
According to the Chairman’s final remarks, the 2023/24 season of the Regional Division Two League will see 32 clubs participating.
