The Black Stars captain only joined the Qatari giants on a free transfer last year but has already won his second trophy.
The former Olympic Marseille man joined the Qatari giants in the summer after parting ways with English Championship outfit Swansea City.
Today, he featured for Al-Sadd during the team’s matchday 20 encounter against Al-Duhail.
Although the result was never going to have any major impact on the title, Al-Sadd SC put up a strong performance to force the match to end in a 1-1 draw.
With the match being the team’s final home game of the season, Andre Ayew and his teammates have been officially handed the league trophy and crowned champions of the 2021/22 Qatari Stars League.
