Medeama Goalkeeper Boris Mandjui ruled out for 6-months with knee injury

Medeama SC has been dealt a huge blow as they will be without their safest pair of hands, Boris Mandjui for the rest of the season after successfully going under knife.

The Ivorian netminder sustained an injury in their last match of the first round against Dreams FC at the Akoon Community Park, he was later confirmed to have torn a ligament in his left knee by the club’s surgeon at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

The 25-year old shot-stopper was Medeama’s number one goalkeeper until he sustained the frustrating injury.

Boris Mandjui kept 16 out of 17 matches for the Yellow and Mauves and conceded 6 goals and managed 10 cleansheets.
