HUGE BLOW: Karela United to miss in-form duo for Ashgold clash

Karela United will be without two of their key players when they welcome Ashanti Gold Sporting Club at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Passioners return to Premier League action in 3 pm kick-off showdown, looking to recover from last week’s defeat to Aduana.

The Aiyinasi based outfits during the game will be without the services of reliable defender Augustine Randolph who suffered an injury in Karela’s 0-2 defeat against Aduana Stars in Dormaa.

Another player who is set to miss the cliffhanger is Kwaku Osei who is battling a little injury.

The duo have been influential to coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah side which went six games without a defeat before their defeat in week 18 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Meanwhile, forward, Abdul Aziz Dogo remains Karela’s long-term injury absentee and he is not expected back anytime soon.

Samuel Atta Kumi,Emmanuel Owusu Boakye,Isaac Donkor and Kingsford Opoku will undergo a late fitness test today ahead of their clash with the Miners on Sunday.
