Samartex coach Henry Wellington aims Premier League qualification

The head coach of Samartex football Club, Henry Wellington, has admitted that he will be glad to associate himself with the club’s Premier League qualification this season.

The former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko coach has written his name already in the Division One League history book having gone 11 matches unbeaten during the first half of the 2021/22 Season.

Wellington has made an immediate impact in the Division One League since taking over the club earlier this season, by putting them into the top of the summit from week 4 to week 17 setting a path to restoring Samartex as credible Premier League qualification contenders in the ongoing season, an achievement that will be the club’s first in its history.

Samartex are comfortably leading Zone two after the first round with 34 points and will be looking forward to win their first home game in the second round against New Edubiase this Sunday at the Scot Park.

Speaking to the media, the former Nzema Kotoko coach said, he will be very glad to make history with Samartex, because they are highly motivated and determined to make it happen.
