Karela United newboy, Stephen Akani is excited to be part of the Pride and Passions club.
The 16-year old was promoted to the senior team from their feeder side Football Club Saigha.
Speaking to Western Region’s leading online portal, www.Domesticsports.com, the youngster stated; “it feels great to be part of the Karela United family at this age and will give out my best anytime for my hometown club”.
“It is always a privilege to be welcomed to the side as a youngster and I am thankful to the club directors, management, technical team, playing body and the great Passioners for their overwhelming supports to me in the team”.
He was an unused substitute in Karela United 2-1 win over Ashanti Gold Sporting Club at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in week 19 of the Ghana Premier League.
