Samartex FC have been declared winners in the matchday 11 fixture against Achiken FC, the Ghana FA has announced.

On 30th January 2022, Achiken Fc hosted FC Samartex on match day 11 of the zone two Division on league at the Jamsco Park at Assin Fosu. Fc Samartex were awarded a penalty in the second department of the game that resulted to the home team supporters invasion on the pitch. The home supporters assaulted Samartex FC goalkeeper Lawrence Ansah led the game to an abrupt end.
Upon review of the incident by the Discipline Committee of the GFA, on referees report and carefully engagements with both clubs, Achiken Fc violated the rules of the game, as a result, Fc Samartex is awarded the maximum 3 points 3 goals in the game and Achiken Fc were deducted additional 3 points from their already accumulated points and fined on an undisclosed amount.
This decision from the GFA takes the Timber Giants to 39 points and leaves Achicken to the bottom of the table with 9 points.
