ENI Ghana to construct astro turfs for three communities in Nzema

As part of their social corporate responsibilities, ENI Ghana exploration and Production limited, an Italian Oil and Gas giant based in Sanzule, in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region will give back to the society in a way to impact and unite the youth through sports.

Nzema and Western Region’s leading online portal, Domesticsportsgh.com can confirm that three communities in Ellembelle, Sanzule- Krisan, Eikwe and Atuabo parks are going to be transformed into a modern Astroturfs by ENI Ghana.

According to close source, the construction of the artificial parks have been awarded to a locally-based Sports Construction Firm based in Accra.

The $150,000 USD project is expected to be completed this year.

Some members of the Eikwe community who made their way to the park were excited about the project and demonstrated a sense of gratitude to the ENI Ghana for committing resource towards the artificial park.

The promoters of the project envisage that the artificial park will not only promote games, but other community events and also to promote and help build their talents.
