A member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council, Sammy Anim Addo has appealed to Ghanaians to support the Black Stars to secure qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking to Citi Sports, the football administrator called on Nana Yaw Amponsah and all other football officials to join hands and do what they can to help the cause of the national team.
He said the world cup is important and every Ghanaian must make their support count.
“This World Cup is too paramount for all of us to make it only a GFA thing. I’m pleading, it’s for Ghana, it’s for everybody, please if any of us made any error, any mistake and we offended you in a way, please we are human. Come and support the Black Stars.
“Everybody must come on board. Nana Yaw Amponsah, all the candidates and all the football-loving people of Ghana,” Sammy Anim Addo said.
Ghana host Nigeria in penultimate World Cup qualifier on Friday 25th March at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
