A former captain of Ghana’s Black Stars, Isaac Acquaye has died this afternoon after a short illness in Accra, according to report we have gathered.
Acquaye a former captain of the Black Stars, featured for two local clubs in Accra, Standfast FC and Great Olympics, as well as Dumas (GTP) a club from Akosombo, during his footballing days.
He has previously managed Sekondi Hasacaas, Bechem United and Great Olympics.
According to a family spokesman, burial arrangements would be announced later.
