Former Ghana midfielder, Micheal Essien has wished his former teammates and the entire Black Stars well ahead of their World Cup 2022 playoff clash against Nigeria today.
The former Chelsea man player was part of the Black Stars 3 World Cups appearances in 2006, 2010 and 2014.
At the 2006 World Cup in Germany, Essien was the star player for the Black Stars after an impressive exploits helping Ghana to reach round 16.
Black Stars go head to head with the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the first leg tie today at the Baba Yara Stadium before the second leg 4 days later in Abuja, Nigeria.
