Division One League: Nzema Kotoko to suffer points deduction

According to reports we have gathered from a whistleblower, it indicates that, Nzema Kotoko will suffer points deduction for using an ‘unqualified official’ in respect of their matchday 26 clash against Unistar Academy at the Tarkwa Akoon Community Park.

The Ampain-based club who were the visitors on the day defeated Unistar Academy 2-0 with goals from Augustine Ofori and Ransford Takyi Amoah, but a local sources have revealed that, Unistar Academy after the game filed a protest claiming that Nzema Kotoko used an unqualified official in the said match.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana football Association will however sit on the matter concerning the case between both clubs in the coming days.

Unistar Academy are currently lying 15th position on the league log with 28 points where as Nzema Kotoko are comfortably occupying 4th on the log with 45 points after 27 games.
