Unistar Academy protest ‘against us’ is hollow and has no basis- Nzema Kotoko

The Director of Operations for Nzema Kotoko, Nana Ainoo Kwagyan III, has finally reacted to Unistar Academy’s complaint filed against their outfit for ‘Using Unqualified Official’ in Matchday 26 of the Division One League Zone two.

As your most reliable portal reported earlier, the relegation-bound Unistar Academy are alleging that, Nzema Kotoko used ‘unqualified official’ ( in the person of Seth Hoffman who was sacked early this month) in the game played at the Akoon Park which ended 2-0 for the visitors.

The Tarkwa-based club have officially filed a protest against the Nzema-based club seeking to be declared winners.

Speaking on West End Radio on the complaints, Nana Ainoo Kwagyan described Unistar Academy’s protest as hollow.

“Unistar Academy protest against us is hollow, empty and has no basis” he said.

“We have also responded to defend our claims, which I know it was perfect explanation we have presented”.

” It’ just a laughable letter we have ever received from any club, and I strongly believe the protest won’t bring anything to them” he added.

Nzema Kotoko are comfortably occupying 4th place on the Zone Two league log with 45 points after 27 games.
