Ahead of Black Stars participation of the Afcon 2023 qualifiers and FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the former national captain has backed players to make a huge impression.
Asamoah Gyan revealed this in an interview with Joy Sports on Wednesday afternoon following the appointment of Otto Addo and his technical staff.
” I believe the boys will make a huge impression looking at the current crop of players we have” he said.
“We need to work hard and I pray we will have good time to prepare for the upcoming games” he added.
Ghana will take on Madagascar and CAR in the 2023 Afcon qualifiers on June 1 and 5 before the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar this year.
