Samreboi, a timber firm community in the Western Region, will be thrown into a carnival mood on Sunday in celebration of Samartex qualification to the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
Samartex booked their place to the GPL last two weeks with 62 points from 29 matches ahead of their last game against New Edubiase.
Following their historic qualification, the management, technical team and playing body of Samartex are set for a grand celebration on Sunday, knowing too well that their last league match against New Edubiase at the Sax Park is merely for the records.
“We want to broaden the smiles of our numerous supporters in the Samartex township and beyond. It is for this reason that we are going all out to beat New Edubiase on Sunday to turn Samreboi into a dancing theatre,”Paul Kwasi Anyaba told Connect FM in an exclusive interview .
“We will play with New Edubiase as if it is the deciding match for our qualification to the Premiership, so we are taking it very seriously. This explains why we will field all our gallant stars” Coach Henry Wellington told Nzema-based West End Radio.
Meanwhile,Domesticsportsgh.com can confirm that some officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will be in Samreboi on Sunday to crown Samartex as the champions in Zone Two of the Division One League (DOL).
