NEWS IN NZEMA: John Kwofie makes history in Axim-North Inter Schools Gala Competition

Young enterprising left-back, John Kwofie who’s been converted into a midfielder scores hatrick for the first time in the Junior High School Division of the Nzema East North zone, inter schools football competition.

The young player who scored his first goal of the tournament against NAM JHS to make it 2-0 for DAKEY M/A JHS scored three goals against one of the zone’s stubborn side, Kegyina M/A JHS.

Kwofie who is affectionately called “Ibrahim Imoro” because of the the qualities he possesses, which includes his decisive crosses and long range powerful drives scored all 3 goals in the first half of the game which took his team to a 3-0 lead to the end of the first department of the game.

Kegyina M/A JHS came into the second half of the game very lively and had a penalty which they scored to bring them on at 3-1 but not too long as DAKEY M/A JHS added their fourth goal through Swanzy with an assist from the hero and hatrick man John Kwofie. The game ended 4-1 in favor of DAKEY M/A who leads the group by 6 points and +5 goals.

The young John Kwofie finished as the top scorer with 4 goals.
