Sogakope-based WAFA SC have been relegated following their 1-0 defeat in the hands of Aiyinase-based Karela United despite the team good performance displayed over the years in the various Ghana Premier League seasons.
WAFA SC struggled from the start of the season and after failing to recover in the second round, the team has suffered a painful relegation.
On the final matchday of the season today, the side lost 1-0 to Karela United and must now prepare for life in the National Division One League.
Besides WAFA SC, Techiman Eleven Wonders and Elmina Sharks have also been relegated at the end of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season.
