DOMESTIC TRANSFER: Samartex FC to swoop for Kotoko defender

Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Samartex 1996 are likely to sign highly-rated Nzema Kotoko defender Maxwell Kofi Kumadoh on a long-term contract, Domesticsportsgh.com can exclusively report.

The 22-year-old is set to join the Zone II Champions ahead of the new football season.

Domesticsportsgh.com understands, that discussions between the two clubs for the signing of the defender have heated up, with the Timber Giants determined to complete his transfer in the coming weeks.

The former Pacific Heroes defender has reached the final year of his contract at the Nzema-based outfits and he is expected to get a deal done ahead of the new season as they prepare for their maiden participation in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Samartex’s hardworking General Manager Edmund Ackah who’s a fan of the stalwart defender is believed to be in advanced talks in the possible transfer of Maxwell Kofi Kumadoh.

The former Eginiakos center-back is also on the radar of King Faisal Babies.
