Ghanaian lower side, Nzema Kotoko have parted ways with twelve players due to the expiration of their contracts, according to reports we have gathered.
The Ampain -based team will do without General captain Ransford Takyi Amoah, Freddy Quayson, Abdul Rashid Salem, William Opare, Roger Lamptey, Prince Nii Commey, Paul Fiasti, Papa Ayeh and Osei Bonsu due to the end of their contracts.
Youngster Patrick Nkonu and Dominic Assuah has also been axed because they are not considered part of the team ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Domesticsportsgh.com understands, top defenders Maxwell Kofi Kumadoh and Albert Gaisie are refusing to extend thier contracts amid interest from newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Samartex FC.
Ebenezer Amoah who also joined Nzema Kotoko from Proud United is closely monitored by Basake Holy Stars for a possible transfer.
Nzema Kotoko finished third on the Zone II league log with 46 points after 30 matches played in the 2021-22 Division One League season.
