2022 CAF Awards: Evelyn Badu lands three nominations

Former Hasacaas Ladies forward Evelyn Badu has been nominated for three awards in the 2022 CAF Awards in Rabat, Morocco.

The midfielder was key in Hasacaas Ladies’ 2021/22 historic campaign, wining four major trophies and finished as runner’s up in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Badu won the most valuable player at the Caf’s Women’s Champions League.

The youngster will be vying for the best Young Footballer of the Year, Female Footballer of the Year and Inter-Club Player of the Year.

Hasacaas Ladies will also vie for Women’s Club of the Year alongside Mamelodi Sundowns, Rivers Angels United and four others.

The award is scheduled to take place on July 21.
