Ghanaian giants Real Tamale United have opened talks with coach Shaibu Tanko over the possibility of extending his expiring contract.
The board of the club have initiated the move to extend his contract after escaping relegated in the final match of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier Season.
It was later speculated that coach Tanko was feared to lose his job after poor start to the Ghana Premier League season but reports we have gathered suggests coach Tanko has already commenced talks with the leadership of RTU over a proposal to extend the contract.
Tanko’s contract with Real Tamale United expired after 2021/22 season.
Real Tamale United finished 15th position on the league log with 41 points in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.
