After three years of searching for a title sponsor, the Ghana Football Association and Betking have reached an agreement to become the headline sponsors of the Ghana Premier League.
Earlier on Monday, Ghana football Association Executive Council member Dr. Tony Aubyn in an interview with Onua Sports confirmed to the media that, the Ghana Premier League will have a new headline sponsor before the 2022/23 season begins.
The Ghanaian League has struggled to acquire a headline financier since Zylophone cash deal expired prematurely due to the financial institution’s dissolution.
Details of the sponsorship package are expected to be made public during an official ceremony, but the Ghana FA has in recent years pegged the value of the title sponsorship of the Ghana Premier League at $2 million per year.
