Emmanuel Dagadu will inherit the iconic No.10 shirt at Karela United, but the jersey has proved to be as much hindrance as it has helpful to previous occupants.
But, many fans were worried about Dagadu attitude before the move, his decision to take up the famous No.10 despite many players seemed afraid to wear the iconic shirt following Aziz Dogo’s recent performance and statistics is an indication he means business.
Abdul Aziz Dogo, who arrived Karela United in 2021 from WA Suntaa following a breakthrough season in the previous season, took the number 10 but his stint at CAM Park lasted just half season, neither he nor the fans have pleasant memories about it.

Diawisie Taylor, arguable the best and most decorated Karela United player in the history, reached an incredible levels with the No.10 plastered across his back.
Of course, replacing the Karela’s best ever player is going to be tough for the youngster and undoubtedly wearing the number 10 will bring another dimension of pressure for Dagadu who is yet to live up to expectations since he joined Karela United.
Karela United will take on Accra Lions in the week two of the betPawa Ghana Premier on Saturday.
