Brazilian coach Tite commends Ghana’s second half performance

Brazilian national team coach Tite has lauded Ghana Black Stars for their spirited second half output against his team on Friday night.

The Brazilians led 3-0 before recess but Ghana stepped up the gear and put up a commendable second half performance as the South Americans failed to add more goals.

“In the first half, the team had pace and the performance, they dominated and controlled. In the second half, Ghana managed to control for 15 minutes, we could not finish them as they had a wall of five players,” Tite explained after the game

“At the same time, we were solid. If we didn’t create, we didn’t let our opponent create either. With the entry of fresh players [off the bench], we regained dominance.”

Ghana will face Nicaragua on Tuesday whereas Brazil lock horns with another African side in the shape of Tunisia.
