Karela United FC are set to appoint former Real Tamale United Coach, Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko as the new head coach for the Passioners.
The Aiyinasi-based club are said to be in talks with the Coach according to source close to our portal Domesticsportsgh.com.
The former Amidaus Professional trainer guided Real Tamale United to a fifteenth place finish after the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Tanko would replace outgoing coach, Bismark Kobi-Mensah who currently has unofficially resigned from his role as the coach of the team.
Kobi-Mensah is currently with the Black Galaxies who were defeated 2:0 by Niger in the ongoing African Nations Championships (CHAN) in Algeria.
Kobi-Mensah communicated his intention to quit his role by words of mouth to the club management and he’s yet to officially turn in his letter.
The 39-year old joined Karela United at the start of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League where he led the Pride and Passions side finish in a historic fourth place.
