The organizers of the West End Radio Independence Day Soccer Fiesta ( WEISFA Cup ) has announced that, Nkroful, hometown of the Ghana’s first President, Dr. kwame Nkrumah will host the 2023 edition.
The competition has been off for sometime following the lack of sponsorship and COVID-19 pandemic which disrupted the global village in 2019.
The Independence Day Soccer Fiesta is a competition organized annually for the three Nzema constituencies as part of activities to celebrate Ghana’s independence day.
This year’s edition will be played from Wednesday 2nd to Monday 6th March, 2023.
Nkroful, is the hometown of the Ghana’s first President and also the district capital of Ellembelle in the Western Region of Ghana.
