Former Black Maidens and Princesses star, Cecilia Hagan has challenged Nzema based female players to take football serious to be able to get more opportunities outside the country.
Narrating her challenges she faced in early stages on West End Radio she said “Football is good and helps a lot if you take it seriously”.
“I will advice my fellow sisters here to take football and education seriously, it will open more doors for you especially with determination and hard work”.
The former Sea Lions defender is currently playing for Al Ahli Saudi FC in the Saudi Arabian Women’s Premier League and has made an impressive campaign with 15 matches, 4 assists and 1 goal during the 2021/22 Season.
She was a member of the Black Maidens team that represented Ghana at the 2016 FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup in Jordan.
