We are yet to receive an official letter from FA” – Skyy FC PRO

The head of Skyy FC communication team Osei Bediako alias (JM Ceazar) has confirmed that the club hasn’t received any official letter regarding the six-point deduction from the Ghana Football Association in the ongoing 2022/23 Access Bank Division One League.

As your most reliable portal reported earlier Skyy FC has been reportedly handed a six-point deduction by the GFA after being accused by Nations FC of fielding an unqualified player.

Skyy FC winger, Victor Edgan Jnr, has been accused of not having the required certification for a change in name, and also using different FIFA ID Numbers ( 10FLEL5) and (1GEDWQ0) with the name Victor Mends in the second round, therefore, making him ‘unqualified’ to feature for the Skyy FC team.

Speaking in an interview about the issue on Skyy Power FM monitored by Domesticsportsgh.com, Osei Bediako said, “The truth of the matter is that, we approached the GFA about a player in our team being registered twice under our investigation. We were advised by the GFA to go to court and get an affidavit in other to get the name of the player changed”

”The said player ( Victor Edgan Jnr) was registered and given all the necessary documents by the IT department of the GFA. He is in the system and he has been eligible to play for us since the beginning of the league. So how then is the GFA now declaring the player ineligible? “.

Osei Bediako stated that should Skyy FC receive an official letter from the GFA, it will appeal the decision.

Meanwhile, the GFA on the other hand is yet to release an official statement on the issue.
