The Supporters wing of National Division One League, Zone One side, Tano Bofoakwa are confident their club will secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League for the first time since 2007.
The Sunyani based club have been impressive this current season and are leading the Zone 1 B summit with 60 points after 26 games.
However, the supporters of the former Premier League side are hoping their club will return to Ghanaian top-flight for the first time after 13-year absence.
” We are determined to qualify to the Ghana Premier League, we have been very consistent in the last three seasons, so we believe we can make it this time around” one supporter told Hennes TV.
The Supporters also indicated their team is very motivated and prepared ahead of their remaining fixtures of the season.
Tano Bofoakwa are likely to face Techiman Eleven Wonders in the Division One Zone One play-off game to decide who represent Zone one in the next season Ghana Premier League.
Bofoakwa were first promoted to the Ghana’s division in 1967 and relegated again after 1993 and in the 2006-07 Ghana Premier League.
