The former Ghana Premier League campaigners were handed a 2-0 defeat by Zone 1A leaders Bofoakwa Tano at the Coronation Park in Sunyani on Sunday afternoon
Zakaria Yussif, the Team Manager of Berekum Arsenal, has accused Sunyani-based sports presenters for being behind the unending grudge between the former Ghana Premier League campaigners and clubs based in the Bono regional capital.
The Gunners are third from bottom in Zone 1A and their 2-0 defeat to leaders Bofoakwa Tano at the Coronation Park on Sunday could spell doom for them.
Meanwhile, the club is not officially relegated from the top-flight despite contrary reports published on the website of the Ghana FA insisting the club has suffered the drop to the third-tier.
Speaking to Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show on Monday night, Zakaria singled out sports presenters in the city for their contribution to the never-ending troubles between the clubs.
