We’ve been starved of Premier League football, it’s time for Sunyani people- Bofoakwa PRO

Public Relations Officer of Division One League side, Bofoakwa Tano, Evans Prempeh has revealed his outfit are poised for action ahead of their final playoffs against Eleven Wonders on Tuesday, May 30.

The two sides will battle out for a slot in the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium in Zone I.

According to him, preparations have been put in place to get his team ready and he is positive his side can secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League next season.

“It is time for Bofoakwa Tano to also bring Premier League football to the people of Sunyani,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.

“The players are willing and have promised to go all out come Tuesday. The Management of the club is putting in the necessary preparation so we can secure a place in Premier League next season.

“This is what we have fought for all season and we are very poised for action,” he added.

Bofoakwa Tano since getting relegated in the 2006/07 season hasn’t tasted topflight football to date.

They will hope to join Nations FC who have already booked their spot in the topflight after conquering Zone II with Heart of Lions also emerging as champions of Zone III.
