Brighton Hove Albion Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey has urged young footballers to continue working hard in school and on the football pitch to realize their dreams in future.
The 22-year old defender was at the Asamankese Methodist park during his Foundation Charity Tournament between Young Kotoko and Nana Kodie FC.
Asamankese Young Kotoko emerged victorious in the Tariq Lamptey Foundation Charity Tournament, defeating Nana Kodie FC with a single goal today.
The tournament, organized by Tariq Lamptey, the talented 22-year-old player from Brighton and Hove Albion, aimed to give back to young footballers and students in Anum, Asamankese.
“I am extremely happy, and the level of play was impressive. I appreciate the opportunity and the warm reception. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of many such initiatives,” Lamptey stated.
He urged the youngsters to continue working hard in school and on the football pitch to realize their dreams in future.
Lamptey also expressed his gratitude to his friends, family, and teammates for their contributions to the event’s success.
