Black Princesses win WAFU B Cup after beating Nigeria in dramatic penalty shootout

Ghana Black Princesses have won the maiden edition of the WAFU U-20 Girls Cup after beating Nigeria in a dramatic penalty shootout at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Captain Stella Nyamekye put Ghana ahead in the 37th minute, converting a penalty kick and securing the first goal against a resilient Nigeria defence.

Princesses goal keeper, Afi Amenyaku, showcase her skills throughout the match with a series of impressive saves.

Nigeria girls came strongly to equalize and breathe new life into the match.

The teams got various opportunities in the remaining time, but neither could find a decisive goal, leading to a tense penalty shootout.

Ghana won the maiden WAFU U20 Girls Cup with a 3-1 shootout victory after the game against Nigeria.
