Former Ghana Football Association Communication Director, Sanni Daara has slammed Patrick Osei Agyemang over his role as Asante Kotoko top management member.
The former GFA Spokesperson believes Countryman Songo as he is popularly called, has failed at Kotoko and has not played any significant role for Asante Kotoko since his appointment.
The popular sports journalist at Multimedia group joined Asante Kotoko as member of the Communication team in January 2020, with responsibilities including the promotion of Kotoko matches and projects.
Sanni Daara disclosed this during an interview with Kumasi-based Kessben Fm. He also revealed that football administration is purely different when you are afar.
“Football administration is not easy. Sitting back afar you can criticize anyhow but given you the job, you won’t have an idea of what you criticized” He said.
“Example is Sports journalists getting the opportunity to serve in football administration. And I can mention Songo, what has Songo brought to Kotoko since he came to Kotoko as part of the management?
“It’s not easy as some easy puzzle to be pushed in an empty hole” He said in a report sighted by Ghanasoccernet.
The defending league champions are currently occupy the fourth position in the league standings, with 51 points and will be looking forward to push ahead in their last game against Dreams FC scheduled for Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
