Samartex’s Emmanuel Keyekeh eyes ‘good result’ against Legon Cities

Midfield dynamo, Emmanuel Keyekeh, is highly optimistic of picking positive result at the El-Wak Stadium on Sunday against Legon Cities.

Keyekeh revealed that, he and his teammates will be ready to cause upset against Legon Cities in the final Ghana Premier League fixture.

The Timber giants will make a trip to the country’s first largest city to battle out with relegation strugglers Legon Cities in an epic clash this weekend.

The 25-year-old insisted in an interview with Greengold FM that his side will leave no stone unturned at the El Wak Sports Stadium despite dropping points against Medeama SC at home.

“We have prepared for the game and we are in Accra for a positive results. We can’t afford to lose to Legon Cities,” Keyekeh said.

“Our recent performance is the motivation. There’s nothing like pressure on us” he added.

Emmanuel Keyekeh joined Samartex from defending league champions Asante Kotoko in 2022.

He has managed to register 5 goals in his 32 appearances for Samartex this season.

Samartex 1996 currently occupies 8th position on the log with 46 points as the Ghanaian top-flight league enters final match-day this week.
