Mospacka dedicates GPL trophy to former Goldfields boss Alfred Baku

President of the newly crowned Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC, Moses Armah Parker has dedicated his outfit’s league title to former Goldfields Executive Vice President Mr.Alfred Baku.

Tarkwa based club annexed their first league title of the elite competition on Sunday following their emphatic 3-0 victory against Tamale City on Sunday at the Akoon Park.

Speaking after the game with Supersport Blitz monitored by domesticsportsgh.com, Mospacka dedicated his team’s league success to the former Goldfields Ghana director for his role and contributions towards the development of the club.

‘I want to dedicate this cup to one person, one great person Alfred Baku, it came to a point, I wanted to sell this club, he called me and said Moses you can’t sell this team, Tarkwa need football team, so I will support you”, He revealed.

” So if today we have able to achieved this, I will dedicate this cup to [him] Alfred Baku, wherever he is, we thank him” he added.

According to astute football administrator, Mr. Baku played a significant role and provided leadership in the decision to reconstruct TNA park.

Domesticsportsgh.com also understands, Mr. Alfred Baku will be honored with a stand at the nearly completed TNA park.

Medeama SC secured Ghana’s only spot in the Inter-club competition after winning the season’s Betpawa Ghana Premier League for the first time in the region since 1977.

Mr.Afred Baku was a former Executive Vice President and Head of Goldfields West Africa.
