Former Karela United forward Kelvin Andoh joins Libyan club Al Hilal Benghazi SC

Libyan top-flight club Al Hilal Benghazi SC has officially announced the signing of former Karela United attacker Kelvin Andoh.

After clearing his medical, the Ghanaian has agreed to a two-year deal with Al Hilal Benghazi SC.

The 27-year-old left Al Soqour Tobruk when his contract with them ran out and now joins another Libyan team on a free transfer.

Before departing for Libya, Kelvin Andoh participated in 6 matches of the Ghana Premier League’s 2022–23 season, recording 1 goal and 1 assist.

The former Asante Kotoko player joined Karela in August 2021 and made 35 appearances in Ghana’s top division over the course of two seasons, scoring 8 goals in the process.

With Wa All Stars in 2016, Kelvin Andoh won the Ghana Premier League championship, and he was a key contributor to the team’s success.

Al Hilal Benghazi SC plays its home games at the 11,000-capacity Benina Martyrs Stadium. The white and blue is second on the Premier League: Championship Group table.
