GFA Club Licensing Board to conclude inspection on August 15

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Club Licensing Committee is set to end its inspection of football venues on Monday, August 14 2023, the department has announced.

The inspection exercise is being undertaken by the Board to provide recommendations on venues in the lead up to the start of the BetPawa Ghana Premier League 2023-2024 Season.

According to Julius Emunah, pitches without proper standard will not been considered this time and however, the clubs have been warned to ensure thier facilities matches Club Licensing Board requirements for approval.

The 2022-2023 BetPawa GPL start date has been tentatively fixed for September 15 with Medeama SC as defending champions.

Kpando Hearts of Lions, Nations FC, and Bofoakwa Tano have gained promotion to compete in the upcoming season.

Recommendations made by the Licensing Committee are considered before licenses are issued to clubs.
