Ex Kotoko striker slams Legon Cities over William Essu illness

Former Asante kotoko forward, Abdul Fatawu Safiu is shocked Legon Cities claim being unaware of goalkeeper William Essu’s health condition.

Pictures of Essu who’s is battling an unknown illness has been circulating on social media with many calling out Legon Cities to attend to the player.

Furthermore, a letter written by the shot stopper to the Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko, pleading for the release of some unpaid bonuses has also been found on social media.

Fatawu Safiu wrote on twitter ” Kash Ghana Football, you telling us your attention was just drawn to your very own goalkeper health’s issues, meaning you people never knew”.

William Essu was member of the Ghana U23 side that qualified for the African U-23 Cup of Nations in Morocco.
