Ghana National Gas Company ( Ghana Gas) has reportedly cancelled their contract with Ghana Premier League outfits, Karela United, Domesticsportsgh.com can exclusively report.
This comes after renowned politician Haruna iddrisu completed the acquisition of the financially stricken club, Karela United with a reported fee of $300,000.
The club has now moved to Tamale after the Club Licensing Board rejected the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park after failing to reach the FA’s requirements.
However, Ghana Gas who has been supporting the club since 2020 with a monthly sponsorship package of Ghc50,000 as their cooperate social responsibility have reportedly scrapped their deal.
The new owners have officially relocate the club to the Northern part of Ghana and will continue playing in the Ghana Premier League.
