Defender, Fatawu Mohammed has been named new Captain of Ghana Premier League side, Karela United.
The 31-year old who is entering his 2nd year at the club, has been given the armband following the departure of former captain Kwodwo Addae.
Domesticsportsgh.com understands, Augustine Randolf and Emmanuel Owuso, have also been reportedly named as first and second vice-captains respectively.
Fatawu joined Karela United in the second round of the 2022/23 season.
Karela United are currently third on the 2023/2024 Betpawa Premier League log and will play as guests to Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Sunday.
