The General Manager of Basake Holy Stars, Dr. Gilbert Kwesi Nyankson has revealed the club is in a dire need of financial assistance and calls on Nzema-based cooperate bodies for support ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana football season.
According to him, such an initiation will go a long way toward assisting the Nzema clubs to enjoy success in the Division One League.
The Basake based club have over the years depend largely on their CEO, Simon Ehomah and some occasion on gate proceeds from their home games.
Following their unprecedented finished in the last season’s campaign, Gilbert Kwesi Nyankson has called on the state-company in their catchment area to help the club.
Speaking on West End Radio, the astute football psychologist revealed the club can do more and bring success to their fans if companies support the club”.
” We are solely depend on Hon.Simon Ehomah, who has been financing the club since, and I believe we can do well if the companies here support, we are here calling on them for support” the Team Manager, Mr.Moro who was with the GM told West End Radio as well.
Basake Holy Stars will open their 2023/24 Division One League campaign with a tricky away fixture against Asekem on Sunday.
