The President of Basake Holy Stars, Hon. Simon Ehomah has commended Holy Stars remarkable determination and resilience during a thrilling encounter in the 2023/24 Division One League Zone Two matchday 11 clash.
The match, which unfolded with gripping intensity saw Basake Holy Stars claim a hard-fought 3-1 victory, courtesy of Konda Adams and Bashiru Abdul goals.
The club President visited the players immediately after the match to commend the players and the technical team for beating Sefwi All Stars 3-1 at Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
He encouraged them to work extra hard to secure qualification to the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League.
He, therefore, took the opportunity to appeal to companies and well to-do-individuals to support the team financially. He said he was opened for any sponsorship.
He thanked the supporters in and around Basake, Aiyinasi, Menzezor, Awiebo, Edwakpole, Akpandue, Akoto, Awiaso, A.B Bokazo for dedicating their time and monies to rally behind the team at home.
He urged them to continue to rally behind the team to achieve its topmost vision.
Hon.Simon commended sports presenters and their pundits in Nzema for promoting the team willingly.
