Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah on Sunday December 24, 2023 donated food items and cash of GHC2,000 each to Nzema Kotoko and Basake Holy Stars.
The donation forms part of the Member of Parliament’s Christmas message to the two clubs in the district.
The deputy minority leader was accompanied by the party chairman and other constituency executives.

“It was delightful watching the local Ellembele derby between Nzema Kotoko FC and Basake Holy Stars, two First Division teams in my beloved constituency yesterday.
I made a cash donation to both teams and also offered them various items to celebrate the Christmas after the match.
Ellembelle is blessed with football talents, and it is our duty to support our local league to nurture these budding talents.”Hon Buah wrote this on his Facebook page.
Nzema Kotoko had the bragging right after beaten their rivals 2-0 in the week 12 of the 2023/24 Division One League Zone Two.
The Basake based club are still top of the summit with 25 points whiles Nzema Kotoko move up to 7th position with 17 points.
